Historical Background
Sri Advaita Acharya was a great devotee and incarnation of Mahavishnu who lived in Shantipur, West Bengal. He was instrumental in bringing about the descent of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. When he saw the suffering condition of the fallen souls of Kali-yuga, he fervently worshipped Lord Krishna with Tulasi leaves and water, crying out for His appearance.
