Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. General Donation Policy

• All donations made to ISKCON The Palace Temple of Lord Jagannath are voluntary and made with free will as an act of devotion.
• Donations are generally non-refundable once processed, as they are contributed towards temple services, deity worship, prasadam distribution, and community welfare.
• Donation receipts will be sent to the email address provided during the transaction for your records.

2. Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

In the event of a demonstrable duplicate transaction or an erroneous charge, you may request a refund by contacting us within 7 days of the transaction date. Please provide:

• Your full name and email address used during the transaction.
• The transaction ID or payment reference number.
• A brief description of the issue (e.g., accidental double payment).

Refunds for duplicate transactions will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method through our payment gateway, Razorpay.

3. Sudamaseva (Monthly Seva) Subscription Cancellation

• Sudamaseva is a voluntary monthly seva subscription and you may cancel it at any time.
• Monthly deductions will continue until you actively cancel your subscription through the subscriber dashboard or by contacting us.

• Refunds for accidental or unauthorised monthly charges can be requested within 7 days of the charge date.
• Once a subscription is cancelled, no further charges will be applied. Previously processed monthly contributions are non-refundable.

4. Event & Festival Registration Cancellation

• Registration fees for festivals, contests, and temple events are non-refundable once confirmed, as they cover immediate arrangements such as prasadam, materials, and logistics.
• If an event is cancelled by the temple, a full refund of the registration fee will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
• In exceptional circumstances, the temple may offer a credit towards a future event in lieu of a refund, at the discretion of the temple administration.

5. Puja & Yagya Bookings

• Once a puja or yagya booking is confirmed and the seva has been scheduled, the contribution is non-refundable.
• If you need to reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. We will do our best to accommodate a reschedule.
• In the unlikely event that the temple is unable to perform the scheduled puja or yagya, a full refund will be issued.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following details:

Please include your transaction ID, date of payment, amount, and reason for the refund request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.

7. Refund Processing Time

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method used during the transaction (credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.).
• Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

8. Governing Law

This Cancellation and Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
